Jessica Kelly Siobhan Reilly Bio
Jessica Kelly Siobhan Reilly is an English actress. In her role in After Miss Julie at Donmar Warehouse (2003-2004) she was nominated to the Laurence Olivier Award. Her film and TV credits include Eden Lake (2008) and Sherlock Holmes (2009). Reilly was the daughter of Jack Kelly (retired police officer) and Chessington's mother, a hospital receptionist. She attended Tolworth Girls’ School in Kingston where drama was her GCSE subject. Her grandparents are Irish. Reilly wrote to the creators of the television drama Prime Suspect to ask for work. Six months later she auditioned the role in an episode of Prime Suspect 4: Inner Circle, which was broadcast on ITV on May 7th, 1995. The actress was featured in the episode "Bramwell", a period drama series on TV, with her as Kathleen Le Saux, a woman who is a troubled wife. A few years later, she played alongside Helen Mirren on Last Orders. She acted with Terry Johnson in four productions including Elton John's Glasses (1997), The London Cuckolds (1998), The Graduate (2000) and Piano/Forte (2006). Johnson composed Piano/Forte for her and said, "Kelly is possibly the most natural, dyed in the wool deep-in-the-bone actor I've worked with." Reilly has said that she gained the most as an actor from Karel Reisz who directed her in The Yalta Game in Dublin in 2001. She stated that she learned from Reilly as a teacher. Without that show, there is no way I would have been able to have performed as Miss Julie.
